Stopped here with my hubby and friends for dinner- the patio was packed and with our last 2 meals in Venice being garbage we based it on the crowd of people.
The host Roberto made us an offer we couldn't refuse, "you don't like your first course, you don't pay and you leave"
The food was delicious from the buffalo mozzarella, spaghetti alla vongola, homemade lasagna and massive calzones we were not disappointed.
The homemade tomato sauce is supreme, which is a comment I rarely make. There are meal options that cater to all budgets.
It doesn't hurt to try out this affordable restorante for lunch or dinner. -

We had 4 pizzas and they were all standard.
Nothing too special - just your regular varieties and regular sauce on regular dough. The toppings are good but not the best.
The price is maybe a bit more than elsewhere because of the VERY touristy location. -

The service was good but fell short of the other restaurants and bars we have been to in Venice. This is definitely a tourist trap with pictures on the menu but to escape the rain and sit for a moment this place was what we expected.
The Gnocci was good but there are many places that have gnocci and the wine was similar to American house wine - good but wouldn't order again... I won't say this place is bad but it's not great. -

Food is food. Lots of the menu is listed as frozen. Mushrooms appeared as canned and ham was the cheap stuff.
The price is the typical inflated prices for crappy ingredients.
But none of us died and after over a week of Italian food it was kind of nice for the ravioli and spaghetti to look like Chef Boyardee and the bread to look like they came from a Pillsbury dough boy can.
Basically a typical tourist money grab.
Great location with high prices and low quality ingredients.
Service was okay.
Came for the location, left knowing I made a mistake. -

Good food, pleasant staff, quick service. Located at the main corner before one of the many shopping paths which makes a great spot for people watching.
